8th Biennial SRWC Operations Work Group meeting a great success

More than 100 people attended the SRWCOWG meeting in Syracuse, New York.  Tim Volk, Larry Abrahamson and their team at SUNY ESF -are to be commended on a very well organized meeting.  Industry participation was excellent.  The tours to local willow plantings in New York and the demonstrations by Case New Holland and FECON of their biomass harvesting machines were stimulating.  The post-conference field tour to the Ferguson  Forest Centre near Kemptville was extremely interesting.  The original meeting announcement and agenda can still be obtained from the following website:   http://www.esf.edu/outreach/pd/2010/srwc/
